The Land Beneath Me Moves
“Influenced by the dialogue between gender, sex and identity, Arshad’s practice explores a profuse amount of possibilities across disciplines to displace socio-political norms. Arshad’s primary focus remains in developing narratives that are both diverse and versatile in their function and form in an effort to mark a discourse on the conflict that arises between nature and nurture in relation to gender, sex and identity. Continuing to further the discourse of the correlation between gender and nature, Arshad attempts to only reveal the harsh realities, through exploration of all possibilities that have yet to be realized and executed.”
